WHICH STYLE WILL SUIT ME?

the breakdown

CLASSIC LASHES

Classics are the most natural lash extension set where we apply an individual eyelash extension onto each individual natural lash, aiming to achieve 80-100% coverage. Adding length, curl and darkness to your lashes. Our Glam Classics are slightly fuller and what some call the 'wet look' lashes, for this service we apply 2-3 lashes per natural lash. For our Mega Classics, we apply 4-5 lashes per natural lash.

Classics are perfect if you want that natural, everyday glam look.

HYBRID LASHES

VOLUME LASHES

Hybrids are a mix between classic and volume (3D) lash extensions, alternating the application between each natural lash. This set is 80-100% coverage. Adding length, curl and darkness to your lashes.

For this style we apply anywhere from 2-5 lash extensions (made into a bouquet) and apply to each natural lash. This set is 80-90% coverage. Adding length, curl and darkness to your lashes, perfect for if you want a bold look.

PRE & POST CARE

how to maintain your results

Pre appointment instructions:

Aftercare instructions:

no caffeine: including coffee, tea or energy drinks on the day before your appointment. Caffeine causes your eyes to flutter excessively making it difficult and dangerous to apply the lash extensions. If your eyes are fluttering to the extreme from caffeine we will possibly have to reschedule your appointment for safety purposes.

no gum: chewing causes your cheeks to move a lot which affects the gel pads under your eyes which makes application difficult and dangerous.

no eye makeup: even though I will cleanse your eye area before application, if there is makeup there it will take longer to remove which takes time and that means there will be less time to actually apply the lash extensions. Also leaves a higher risk of makeup residue which causes retention issues with the lash extensions.

minimal talking: talking also causes your cheeks to move a lot and your eyes to flutter, and when I am holding tweezers right by your eyes this makes it very dangerous when applying the lash extensions. It’s important for me to concentrate while applying the lash extensions for the best possible outcome and your safety.

wear comfy clothes: you will be laying down for 1.5hrs-3hrs depending on the lash set you are getting, you want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible and avoid wearing restrictive clothing.

bring headphones: I recommend bringing your own headphones so you can listen to your preferred music/podcasts/audiobooks to keep yourself entertained. 1.5hrs-3hrs can sometimes feel like a long time to lay down with your eyes closed. This appointment cannot be rushed and needs a lot of patience.

Pre appointment instructions:

no mascara: mascara will create buildup on the lashes and the lash line where bacteria can grow and cause infection.

wash daily: use a lash cleanser and brush to wash your lash extensions daily to prevent buildup. Even natural oils and dead skin cells have build up over time and be a good place for bacteria to grow and cause infections. The best time to wash the lashes is in the morning and before bed when you wash your face. You may dry the lash extensions with a hairdryer with the heat on cool, brush on with spoolie/eyelash brush once dried.

do not pick: no picking, pulling or rubbing the eyelash extensions, this can the lash extensions and natural lashes to fall out prematurely and even damage your natural lashes.

avoid sleeping on lashes: try your best to sleep on your back, as sleeping on your face can rub the eyelash extension and cause them to fall out prematurely, you may begin to notice the side you sleep on have the lash extensions fall out faster. To prevent this you can use a silk eye mask or silk pillow case.

book refills: to maintain the lash extensions a refill appointment is recommended every 2-3 weeks to thoroughly cleanse, remove outgrown and twisted lashes, and fill in with new lash extensions

growth serum: you may use a lash growth serum while having lash extensions, it doesn't affect the lash extensions but it helps your natural lashes to grow back faster as in rare occasions lash extensions can make the natural lashes fall out prematurely, especially when you get a heavier set like 5D and mega volumes.

Aftercare instructions:

Once you’ve had your eyebrows tattooed, proper aftercare will significantly influence the outcome and longevity of your brows. The healing process lasts a few weeks and involves several stages, each requiring specific care and attention, understanding the steps involved and following the recommended aftercare instructions are essential for achieving the best results.

As the numbing cream wears off after your appointment, your brows will feel sensitive and tender, feel free to use panadol or nurofen.

The first healing stage is about 2 weeks where the brows will initially go darker in colour as the brows start to heal/scab. After a few days the scab will start to flake off and it may look like the colour has faded or not held this colour, but that is just the new layer of skin that has healed over the tattoo. This is the second stage of healing where it can take 4-6 weeks for your skin to regenerate until you will see the actual colour of the brow tattoo.

Touch up appointments: A touch up appointment is recommended 6-8 weeks after your initial brow tattoo appointment. At the touch up appointment we will fix any imperfections from the healing process. Things we may fix at your touch-up appointment include patchiness (this is due to the fact that different parts of the skin heal at different rates and some parts may hold the pigment better than others), we can choose a darker brow colour.

Everyone's brows heal differently and some may require more than 1 touch-up to achieve desired results due to the ability their skin has to retain the pigment.

Immediately after-48 hours

for the first 48 hours use fragrance free baby wipes, facial wipes or tissues to dab the area every few hours or until brow stop oozing. This is to remove excess lymph fluids, which are produced and released when skin is broken. Lymph fluid serves an important function: cleaning the wound, protecting it from bacteria, and helping to form a scab.

once we finish tattooing the eyebrows I will apply a thin layer of aftercare cream onto the brows, for the next 48 hours you won't be required to put any more aftercare cream on, after 48 hours you will then apply a thing layer of the aftercare cream with a Q-tip twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. It's important not to put too much on as this can dilute the pigment. The aftercare cream will help prevent infection and keep the brows from drying out for fast and effective healing and colour retention.

2-14 days

washing your brows: using an antibacterial soap such as 'cetaphil' apply a small amount onto finger tips and rub between fingers to create soapy foam, gently dab soap onto brows and lightly pat brows with soap for up to 10 seconds to remove any buildup of aftercare cream, bacteria and debris. Rinse off by gently pouring some water over the brows. To dry, use a tissue paper to lightly dab the brows. It's important to wash your brows in front of a mirror and sink and not in the shower. Wash the brows every time before you apply the aftercare cream (twice a day, morning and night)

after 48 hours, only apply cream twice a day after cleansing the brows, once in the morning and once in the evening for up to 2 weeks or until your brows have finished peeling/flaking off.

Immediately after-10 days

use the aftercare cream we gave you only when your brows feel tight and dry. Apply a thin layer in 1 direction.

for the first 2 weeks or until your brow tattoo has finished peeling/flaking it's important to keep your brows away from moisture (besides when washing them), do not submerge brows in water such as in the shower, pool, or any body of water, or constant stream of water, sweat, steam for longer than 10 seconds, if you do accidentally get them wet, dab them dry with a tissue or towel straight away.

no heavy exercise

no creams besides aftercare cream

no makeup

no sauna

no facial massage or steaming

no picking or scratching dry skin/flakiness. Let skin fall naturally other wise it can cause scarring and loss of pigment.

once skin flakes off it may appear that the strokes have disappeared but this is just the new skin forming and within 1-2 weeks the strokes will slowly reappear as the skin regenerates .

no sun exposure

Microblading, Ombre and Combo brows: immediately after-4 weeks

for the first 4 weeks don't get any waxing, threading or hair removal products on treated area while healing, you may do this after 4 weeks.
